The Committee on Health and Human Resources moved to amend the bill on page one, section one, line four, after the word “authorized” by striking out the period and adding the following: with the following amendment:

One page five, by striking out all of subdivision 7.3. and inserting in lieu thereof a new subdivision 7.3., to read as follows:

7.3. The passage of time. The length of time an applicant is barred from employment in direct access care starts from the date of conviction or the date of release from the penalty imposed, whichever is later.
